Title: Current Longitudinal Quantitative Research:Decreased Recidivism with Integrative Community Support
Background: Following COVID‑19 pandemic, the instantaneous use of online treatment for addiction left much room for study as for the effectiveness of these online program platforms, more specifically the maintenance phase of the continuum treatment cycle.
Purpose: This study explored how an online aftercare treatment program has assisted patients in late-stage remission.
Design: Cross‑sectional in‑depth qualitative interviews. Setting: Outpatient service in Houston, Texas. Participants: Ten women and ten men in self-reported maintenance stage of their addiction.
Title: Current Cross Sectional Qualitative Research:Offender Reintegration with use of Technology
This study examines the association between mobile phone technology use in online addiction treatment and recidivism. Using data from 2017-2024 from a survey of 2,600 adults, we test whether patient involvement on mobile phone technology predicts re-arrest rates after adjusting for gender, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and academic performance.
